Let's post! Hoooooooooooo-WAHoo!
Kate's in Colorado loving every beautiful second of these mountains. Yesterday, I went hiking to the tippy-top of some Ypsilon mountains. 13,752 ft up. The temp dropped as we got higher and at the very top we had a snowball fight for like 10 minutes before everybody fell over from the altitude. It's unusual this time of year for the Rockies to still be snow-covered, but by golly, they are. And they are gorgeous. I feel at a loss with my camera, because God's already made them so beautiful. I couldn't even begin to attempt capturing a glimpse of his glory. And yes. I love him.
Back on the normal ground its 91 degrees... crazy. Today I went to Focus on the Family in Colorado Springs, CO. Pretty frackin sweet. I remember reading when I was younger about everything I saw today. Whit's End. The Imagination Station. Chronicles of Narnia. KYDS Radio. It was a "little kids" thing, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had really great witnessing conversations with 3 people there too. A chinese woman named Hee Sun. A guy named Matt. And another guy named Saul. God knows their hearts, but I cannot say enough about the rush and brilliance I feel when the Holy Spirit moves through and inside of me.
I've been a mad-woman about checking up with Mike concerning work. I MISS MY JOB!!! And Mike's leaving for Csehy the day I get back... pish posh. I won't see him until August 10thish.
Hey- guys that I know. I respect you all alot. I trust and appreciate you, and am so proud of the men you are becoming.
All this is to say that its a wonder to meet God in a place like this. Something about coming to the mountains for awhile taps at my heart of hearts.
